Our Ministries

Visitation Program

Each week, one of our four visitation teams receives assignments to send cards, call, or visit one of our guests, our shut-ins, and others who need encouragement.  Need prayers, encouragement, someone to talk to, or do you want to learn more about the Bible?  Call our office and ask to be contacted by one of our visitation teams.  Whatever you need, we’re here to help!

Evangelism Program

No call has ever been more urgent than the Great Commission.  Jesus said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:19-20).  At Phillips Street that is our primary purpose.  Beyond our regular weekly Bible classes and worship services we put forth every possible effort to saturate our community and our world with the gospel.

Youth Program

Our young people are not only our future but they are our present.  We must be committed to teaching them, encouraging them, and providing an environment conducive for building their faith today.  We have a great group of young people of all ages at Phillips Street who stay busy in our first-rate Bible class program as well as any number of programs and activities designed to build their faith and their relationship with each other and other Christian young people.

Media Ministry

Phillips Street has always been committed to using the latest technologies in our efforts to make the gospel of Jesus available to the world.  We were pioneers in live streaming and archiving worship services and Bible classes, an effort we continue on our website and YouTube channel.  Additionally we are the sponsors of A Bible Answer, a question/answer format television program available to almost 1.5 million people around the Mid-South and over the internet to the world.  We also attempt to make other teaching materials and devotional videos available on a regular basis.  You can access these mass-media efforts at the following addresses:
